So very sorry to learn of Don’s passing. He was a dedicated family man. He loved to laugh. When he had his boat at our place, we enjoyed hearing him yell “tea time” at mid afternoon. Keep your memories close to your heart. Sorry we couldn’t make the funeral.

To Kevin, Sandra, Scott and Tammy I send my deepest condolences. I could not even begin to draw from my memories of your dad. Writing them would fill a book about late night pool games his basement to day long emergency calls for Commercial Equipment in far flung places around the province. So much fun and hijinx. The best kind of fun when you’re a teenage boy. So sorry for your loss guys.

My memories of don was always a house full of kids,relatives and laughter. Joyce and Don took me in when i had nothing and let me stay in their house on the hill in hampton. His laughter was contagious. Going on his houseboat was a hoot. His door was always open and his heart was open to those who needed....ill miss you sir you were a cool dude .

My deepest condolences to you and your family. Your father was a great man and was instrumental in my success in the petroleum industry. He was a mentor, and I am sure I was a pain to him in my early days calling him at all hours for guidance, he always answered the phone. I made a few runs to Quebec with Don, he was 50 years old when I started and mI only 23, I had a hard time keeping up with him, our first stop on the way to Quebec would be in Miramachi were he would purchase a couple of big lobsters and put them in a cooler, then later in the day we would stop at a rest stop and have a feast. Then in the morning long before there were keurig machines Don would unpack his coffee pot and make us a coffee. If he knew I was working late somewhere and would be heading home he would give me a call and say stop in at the house for a cup of tea and something to eat. His door was always open to friends. There was never a time that when I stopped to have a cup of tea with Don that he did not mention each of you and what you were up to, as well as his grand children. He was certainly proud of you all.
