Obituary of Yvette Mary Hebert
It is with great sadness that the family of Yvette Mary Hebert announce her death, which occurred on Monday, November 14, 2022, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Rogersville, NB, on May 29, 1939, she was the daughter of the late Jean Baptiste and Julie Hachey.
Yvette loved playing Bingo, singing karaoke, dancing and all music. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
Yvette is survived by her loving husband, Stephen Long of Hampton, NB; children: George Hebert, Gerald Hebert (Sue), Ronald Hebert (Joanne), Charlene O’Brien (Mike) and Roger Hebert; many grandchildren; sisters: Stella Ferron (Elie), Rita Earle (George), Claudette McCune (Jim) and Aline Wilson (Max); brothers: Ernie Hachey (Pat), Roger Hachey (Alice), Fernand Hachey (Diane) and Jean Paul Hachey (Diane); sisters-in-law: Rita Richard, Theresa Daigle-Louis, Lucie Richard, Linda Cripps, Susan Woodley (Russell), Judy Russell (Edward), Barbra Long and Evelyn Long; brother-in-law Jerry Long (Valerie); as well as many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Yvette was predeceased by her first husband Elvrey Hebert; brother Lionel Hachey; infant brother Gerald; sisters-in-law: Elva Richard and Edith Robichaud; and brothers-in-law: Edgar Hebert and Aurale Hebert.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Reid’s Funeral Home (506-832-5541), 1063 Main Street, Hampton, NB. Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 17, 2022, from 4 to 7PM from the Hampton Baptist Church, 776 Main Street, Hampton, NB. The funeral service will be held on Friday, November 18, 2022, at 11:00AM, also from the Hampton Baptist Church. Interment will take place at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Saint John, NB.
