It was a running joke that they had to stop playing cards at midnight as Dad would not play cards on a Sunday. There were many many visit with your Mom and Dad. When my Mom could no longer visit, your Mother was so kind to call her and chat.
Your Mom was a special lady who will be missed by all who knew her. May your loving memories of your Mom help you get through the difficult days ahead.

Rita and Sharron and families, Sorry about your huge loss. Your love and care for your mom was exceptional which willow make the hole left bigger. About a month ago I was walking down the hall of Dr. Snow Centre looking for Sandra's (Muir) room. You mom was in her wheel chair just inside her door so I stopped to talk. She invited me in and had me sit on her bed as she showed me her recent puzzles and pictures of the family and shared a bit about her life. "What I find the hardest now," she said, "is that there's nothing to do. It's terrible. I might take up knitting again." I was surprised to hear that she "got away" soon after that. Sad for you guys. Happy for her. Love from the Carlines. Paul

Hi Pauline, so nice to get to know you after all these years. I remember as a kid in church in HAmpton, seeing you and your family sitting ahead of us. Meeting others loved ones at Snows creates a little mini community, all in a similar situation. So nice to chat together, made visiting time so much lighter.

Dear Reta, Sharon and Donna, your mother was a very kind sweet lady. Many years ago she made a beautiful quilt called the "Tree of Life" for me and it was exquisite. She even attempted to teach Reta and I how to quilt on her very large quilting frame. She had the patience of Job and always made me feel at home. She will remembered as a very talented and resourceful woman. My very sincere condolences, Love Gilda and John

Thank you Gilda, and John, you were our main Jigsaw Puzzle Supplier, and they were beautiful when completed. The puzzle board was stored under her bed. She would say “get the puzzle out” if she didn’t want to play cards. And I was amazed at how she could reach across the board and pick out the right piece, and plunk it in with satisfaction! She would always say,”this looks like a hard one” but a few visits later it was done! Another photo and her thumbs up!
