Obituary of Lynn McCabe

It is with great sadness that the family of Lynn McCabe announce her death, which occurred on Monday, January 17, 2022, at her home in Hampton, NB. Born in Saint John, NB, on July 14, 1950, she was a daughter of the late John and Mary (Yeomans) Carson.

Lynn worked at the Hampton Provincial court house for 31 years as a court stenographer. She loved animals and would always help stray cats. Lynn also enjoyed knitting, watching Matlock and watching red cardinals.

Lynn is survived by her son Andrew McCabe and his wife Laura of Oxford, NS; sister Marlaine Scott of Lakeside, NB; as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. In addition to her parents, Lynn was predeceased by her husband Jeremy “Jerry” McCabe; nephew John Jensen.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Reid’s Funeral Home (506-832-5541), 1063 Main Street, Hampton, NB where services will be held in the spring.
