Obituary of Ann Mary Walker

It is with great sadness that the family of Ann Mary Walker announce her death, which occurred on Saturday, January 15, 2022, at her home in Hampton, NB. Born in Saint John, NB, on June 2, 1938 she was a daughter of the late Royden and Ethel (McGaghey) Higgins.

Ann retired from working 17 years at the Dr. V. A. Snow Centre; always giving her time and energy towards helping others. Prior that, she also worked at Hampton Golf Club and service grocery.

Ann is survived by her loving companion Paul Trecartin; sons: Daniel Soucy (Norma) of Hampton, NB, David Soucy (Loretta) of NL and Cameron Walker (Heidi) of Saint John, NB; brother Rueben Wood (Diane) of Saint John, NB; grandchildren: Leanne Shaw, Nathan Soucy, Vanessa Fagan, Nathaneal Soucy, Kaitlyn Walker Russell, Devon Walker, Emily Walker, Madison Walker, Kayne Walker, Kieren Walker and Lilyan Walker; six great grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Ann was predeceased by her brother Gordon Higgins; sister Nancy Higgins; and step daughter Tina Cameron

Arrangements have been entrusted to Reid’s Funeral Home (506-832-5541), 1063 Main Street, Hampton, NB where services will be held in the spring. Donations in memory of Ann may be made to the Dr. V.
