Obituary of Gordon Arnold Gilmore

It is with great sadness that the family of Gordon Arnold Gilmore announces his death, which occurred on Wednesday, August 4, 2021 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Simcoe, ON, on July 23, 1950, he was the son of the late Gordon Sr. and Anne (Follington) Gilmore.

After receiving his CMA designation in 1978, Gord spent many exciting years across Canada and the US in the role of financial manager and controller for numerous companies. He was very pleased to work in the beautiful province of New Brunswick. Here, he truly enjoyed his home in Hampton and lived his retirement dream.

Gordon is survived by loving wife Lynda Gilmore (Marcin) of Hampton, NB; siblings: Connie Fay of London, ON, Beth Auld and her husband Dennis of Simcoe, ON, Len Gilmore and his wife Anga of Brampton, ON, and Randy Gilmore of London, ON; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Reid’s Funeral Home (506-832-5541), 1063 Main Street, Hampton, NB, where all services will be held privately.
