I worked with Gerald for nearly 10 years before he retired, and he was always engaged and lovely to deal with. He often beamed when talking about his son and his woodworking business. I would query him often on the processes and his techniques to help continue his legacy and he was always respectful and patient and a wealth of knowledge. I recently ran into him at Ganong Nurseries and we talked about how happy he was to be working there and enjoyed the interactions with people. I am deeply saddened, especially for his family, to learn of his passing and he will be missed. My condolences to his family. Rebecca

I worked with Gerald at Strescon, we became fast friends, he was a doll, and there was always a smile and a hug from him when we met, and even after he retired. I got to see him last at Ganong's last summer. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.
