Obituary of Margaret Ryan

Surrounded by her loving family, Margaret Mary Ryan, age 85, of Barnesville, NB passed away peacefully on Friday, June 26, 2015 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born on May 20, 1930 in Campbellton, NB, she was a daughter of the late Michael and Winnifred (Agar) Raymond. Margaret’s entire life was dedicated to her family of which she is survived by her children: Judith Ryan of Barnesville, Jean Sherwood (Phillip) of Upham, Arthur Ryan (Carol) of Loch Lomond, Christine Corner of Quispamsis, Frank Ryan (Wendy) of Otter Lake, Sean Ryan (Lisa Brown) of Loch Lomond, Lori Price (Stephen) of Barnesville, Lynn London (Dale) of Loch Lomond and Rebecca Ryan (Stephen Gillies) of Rothesay; sisters, Betty Ann Ryan of Barnesville and Joan Amirault (Gerry) of Saint John; brother Michael Raymond (Elaine) of Harvey Station; sisters-in-law, Sonya Ryan and Donna Ryan both of Millidgeville; brother-in-law Jack McCluskey of Loch Lomond; 14 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren; as well as many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Margaret was predeceased by her loving husband of 59 years Arthur Joseph Ryan; son Patrick Ryan; granddaughter Cheyanne Ryan; and sisters: Jean Raymond, Gertrude Nisbet and Julia McCluskey. She is resting at Reid’s Funeral Home (506-832-5541), 1063 Main Street, Hampton, NB, with visitation on Thursday from 2 to 8pm. The Mass of Christian Burial, conducted by Father Kevin Barry will be held on Friday, July 3, 2015 at 11:00am from St. Alphonsus Catholic Church. Interment will take place at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Saint John. The family would like to thank the staff of 4BN at the Saint John Regional Hospital for their kind and loving care of Margaret. They would also like to thank Dr. Sharon McCutcheon for her many years of care and compassion. Donations in memory of Margaret may be made to the memorial of the donor’s choice.
