It is with sadness the family of Phillip Arthur Allen, age 70, of Saint John, NB, announces his passing, which occurred on Monday, April 27, 2015 at his residence. Born on July 13, 1944 in St. Lambert, QC, he was a son of the late Eric and Olive (Coote) Allen. Phillip is survived by his wife Dorothy Jean Allen; children, Aaron Allen (Cathy) of Quispamsis and Angela (Mike) of Dieppe; brother John (Sharon) Allen of Hampton; sister Heather (David) Macintyre of Shediac; granddaughter Julia; sister-in-law Sally Allen; as well as several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Phillip was predeceased by his brother David Allen. Arrangements have been entrusted to Reid’s Funeral Home (506-832-5541), 1063 Main Street, Hampton, NB. As per Phillip’s request, there will be no visitation or funeral service held. A private family interment will take place at a later date. Donations in memory of Phillip may be made to Canadian Cancer Society, Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the memorial of the donor’s choice.
