The death of Margaret Ellen Duncan, of Smithtown, NB, partner of Mike Reynolds, occurred on January 19, 2015, at the Saint John Regional Hospital, NB. She was born on January 10, 1962 in Saint John, NB a daughter of the late Phil and Eva (Peacock) Smith. Margaret worked at the Saint John Regional Hospital for several years and then at St. Joseph’s Hospital where she retired due to failing health in 2014. She loved all animals especially her cat Niki and her dog Molly. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, four wheeling, camping and fishing at the lake and yes a good party. Margaret will be dearly missed by sisters Betty (Albert) Verner of Quispamsis, NB and Nancy Stevens of Norton, NB; brothers Ronald (Rose) Smith of Smithtown, NB, and Eugene Smith of Saint John, NB; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents and brother Tom Smith. Arrangements for Margaret are under the care of Reid’s Funeral Home (506) 832-5541, 1063 Main Street, Hampton, NB. There will be no public visitation or funeral service. A private family burial will be held at a later date. Donations in memory of Margaret may be made to the memorial of the donor’s choice.
