It is with sadness the family announces the unexpected death of Charles Dwight Steeves, age 69, the husband of Carolee (Daniels) Steeves, of Hampton, NB, which occurred at his residence, on Friday, June 27, 2014. He was born on March 8, 1945 in Moncton, NB, the son of Charles Steeves and the late Lois (Middleton) Steeves. In addition to his wife Carolee, Charlie is survived by his daughter Shannon and Jim Sherwood of Hampton; son Shane and Anissa Steeves of Quispamsis; grandchildren Jordan and Bailey Sherwood and Ava and Mason Steeves; father Charles and Norma of Riverview; sister Paula Goad of Riverview; three step-brothers; one step-sister; mother-in-law Nannie Bea Daniels of Sussex; brothers-in-law Daryl and Edie Daniels; sisters-in-law Bonny and Victor Girouard and Janet Robertson; several nieces and nephews. He is resting at Sherwood's Funeral Home and Life Tribute Centre (506) 839-2156, 18 Scovil Road, Norton, NB, with visiting on Monday, June 30, 2014 from 6 to 8 p.m. and on Tuesday, July 1st from 3 to 5 and 6 to 8 pm. Funeral service will be held from Sherwood's Chapel at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday July 2, 2014. A private family Interment will follow in Bayview Cemetery.
