It is with deep sadness, the family of Weldon Robert Curtis, age 75, of Hampton, NB, husband of Lois Curtis, announces his death which occurred on June 22, 2014, following a brief illness at the Saint John Regional Hospital. He was born on October 9, 1938 in Gray Rapids, NB, the son of the late Freeman and Hazel (Howe) Curtis. Curt is survived by his daughter Carol Spence (Shaun Gillis) of Hampton, NB; son Stephen Curtis and his wife Kelly of Musquodoboit Harbour, NS; grandchildren Kyle Curtis, Stephen Spence, Cody Montana Spence, Chad Spence; sisters Roberta Connick, Hazel Mary Nevin and her husband Dennis; brothers Myles Curtis and his wife Marlene, Joey Curtis and his wife Joan; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother Shirly Curtis and his wife Marie; sister Abigail Curtis and brother-in-law Allan Connick. The family wishes to thank the nursing staff of NICU 4BS of the Saint John Regional Hospital for their wonderful care given to Curt during his stay.
