It is with sadness the family announces the death of Brian Andrew Carson, age 71, of Salt Springs, NB, which occurred on Wednesday, April 30, 2014, at his residence. Brian was born on February 10, 1943, the son of the late Ralph and Mabel (Campbell) Carson. Brian loved to fish and hunt, especially partridge. He loved the kids, and liked to tease them.You would never visit, that a pot of tea wasn't put on. He thought the world of Billy. They put a lot of miles on in the run of a week, travelling to Hampton and Sussex. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him. Brian is survived by two sisters, Louise Long (Bob) of Salt Springs, NB, Jane Jeffrey (Ray McFarlane) of Sussex, NB; friend Billy MacDonald; several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his brother Francis, niece Amanda Dale Carson, nephew Randy Jeffrey and great-nephew Colby Reynolds. He is resting at Reid’s Funeral Home, 1063 Main Street, Hampton, (506) 832-5541, with visitation on Friday, May 2, 2014 from 3 to 5 and 6 to 8 PM. Funeral service, conducted by Rev. Karen MacNeill, will be held on Saturday, May 3, 2014, at 11:00 AM, from Salina Kirk United Church, Salt Springs, NB, followed by interment in Titus Hill Cemetery.
