It is with great sadness that the family and friends of Betty Iris Blair announce her death, which occurred on October 30, 2020 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in London, England, on July 2, 1929, she was a daughter of the late Sidney and Grace (Evans) Barnes. Betty is survived by: her brother, Ray (Patricia) Barnes of Tewkesbury, England; her sister-in-law, Helen Parker also of England; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to her parents, Betty was predeceased by her loving husband James Mackie Blair. Arrangements have been entrusted to Reid’s Funeral Home (506-832-5541), 1063 Main Street, Hampton, NB. A graveside committal service will take place at 9:00am on Saturday, November 7th, 2020, at St. Paul’s Anglican Cemetery in Hampton, NB. Donations in memory of Betty may be made to the Canadian Kennel Club Foundation, St. Paul’s Anglican Church – Hampton, or the charity of the donor’s choice.
