Obituary of Beth Nagle
On September 20, 2020, a day after her 83rd birthday, Eleanor Elizabeth (Lannen) Nagle, passed away peacefully at her home in Kennebecasis Park after a short battle with pancreatic cancer.
Beth was a daughter of the late Joseph and Anne (Beck) Lannen; the proud single mother to: Hope of Moncton, NB, Joe (Michele) of Rothesay, NB, and Nancy of Rothesay, NB; as well as grandmother (Papa Beth) to Christopher, Elizabeth, Anna, Emily, and Will.
Beth also leaves behind her sister Joe Anne Murray of Harwichport, Massachusetts; brother Charles Lannen of Keene, Ontario; and sister and best friend Hope Redfern of Rothesay, NB. She will also be missed by special niece and nephew: Anne (Dan) Taylor of Peterborough, ON, and Barry (Krista) Redfern of Millbrook, ON; as well as several other nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother-in-law William Murray, and sister-in-law Deborah Lannen.
Beth will be remembered for her strength, kindness, sense of humour, strong work ethic, infectious laugh, invention of "Bethanese", love of animals and more recently, gnomes, non-stop knitting needles, endless crossword puzzles, and please remember, "It’s all about the butter".

In Beth’s words, "When You’re Gone, You’re Gone", so in keeping with her wishes there will be no visitation or funeral services, and a private graveside ceremony will be held at a later date. These arrangements have been entrusted to Reid’s Funeral Home (506-832-5541), 1063 Main Street, Hampton, NB.
