After a period of failing health, it is with sadness we announce the passing of Jeanne Marie Bowles, which occurred on July 25, 2020 at the Dr. V. A. Snow Centre. Born in Saint John, NB, on November 13, 1934, she was a daughter of the late Arthur and Mary (Coughlan) MacKinnon. Jeanne is survived by her loving family: Jayne Barron and her son Joshua Barron, Cindy (Jim) Williams and their children Stephen Williams and Jeffrey Williams, and Theresa (Mark) Hussey and their children Grady Curran, Matthew Hussey, Holly Jean Hussey. Jeanne is also survived by her sister, Liz (Barry) Murray and their children Kyle Murray, Jacob Murray, and Megan Murray. In addition to her parents, Jeanne is predeceased by her husband, Lorne Anthony Bowles, who passed in 2005. Jeanne worked for many years at Veterans Land Act, and then Revenue Canada until her retirement. Jeanne moved to Chamcook Lake and spent many happy years puttering in her flower gardens. The family would like to thank the Dr. V.A. Snow Centre for the loving care they gave Jeanne these last few years. Arrangements have been entrusted to Reid’s Funeral Home (506-832-5541), 1063 Main Street, Hampton, NB. In keeping with Jeanne’s wishes, there will be no funeral services. Donations in memory of Jeanne may be made to the Alzheimer Society, Dr. V.A. Snow Foundation, or the memorial of the donor’s choice.
