Adria Moore

Obituary of Adria Moore

It is with great sadness that the family of Adria Marian Constance Moore, age 73, of St. Martins, NB, announces her death which occurred on Friday, May 15, 2020 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John, NB, on March 5, 1947, she was a daughter of the late Allan and Audrey (Bourne) Hall. Adria was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. Raising a family was never "work" for her, but it was the greatest job she ever had. Her family meant the world to her and she valued her relationships more than anything else. Adria is survived by her daughters: Karyn Bryant (Jeff) of Zephyrhills, FL, Kim Raithby (Donnie) of Bains Corner, NB, and Krista Deering (Rick) of Willow Grove, NB; her sons: Kevin Moore (Jeannette) of Saint John, NB, and Matthew Moore (Mandy) of Truro, NS; and her siblings: Allaine Beels (Fred), Phyllis Landry, Ann Fougere (Aubrey), Bill Hall (June), Wendy Hall, Joy Hall, John Hall, Mark Hall (Linda), and Marilyn Baker (John). Adria is also survived by her grandchildren: Kelsey, Olivia, Jacob, Brandon, Alexa, Kevy, Marlee, Macie, Mila, and Maeven, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends, all of whom she loved dearly. In addition to her parents, Adria was predeceased by her loving husband, Daryl Moore and her sister, Pam Sleigh. It would be wrong to say that Adria lost her battle because she never stopped fighting. No matter how sick she was, she was always determined. Although her family is heartbroken by this great loss, they find solace knowing she is at peace and finally reunited with the love of her life. Arrangements have been entrusted to Reid’s Funeral Home (506-832-5541), 1063 Main Street, Hampton, NB, and due to COVID-19 restrictions private services will be held. Donations in memory of Adria may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society (NB), the Heart & Stroke Foundation of New Brunswick, or to the memorial of the donor’s choice. Personal condolences to the family and donations may be made through ReidsFH.com
