Obituary of Anne L. Miller

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Anne Louise Miller age 86 of Hampton formerly of Kingston, announce her passing at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Saturday March 14, 2020 following a brief Illness. Born in Saint John she was the daughter of the late Joseph A. and Louisa L. (Sheldrick) Walton. Anne is survived by her children; Glenn Miller (Sandra) of Barnesville, Todd Miller (Denise) of Kingston and Frank Miller (Paula) of Kingston, a brother; Donald Walton (Liz) of Sussex, sisters; Edith "Bingie" Baxter of Quispamsis and Eleanor Green (Jimmy) of Saint John, 4 grandchildren; Nathan, Hunter, Travis and Anna and sisters in law; Ottillie Miller and Audrey Miller. Anne was predeceased by her husband Ken Miller and a brother in law; Bob Baxter. Anne had attended Modern Business College as a young lady and was employed for a few years with Angevine Mclaughlin. In 1956 she and Ken were married and spent the most of her life in Kingston on the Williams Rd., where she raised her family. Anne was a member of the All Saints Anglican Church, Kingston and had been an active member of the ACW. Anne took great pride in her home and garden and was well known for her beautiful window boxes of Begonias. Anne loved to host parties and her door was always open to family, neighbours, friends and her children’s friends. The family would like to thank the Dr. V.A. Snow Centre where Anne kept an apartment for the past few years, also thank you for the care Anne received from Dow Homecare and Daeka Homecare. Arrangements have been entrusted to Reid’s Funeral Home (506-832-5541), 1063 Main Street, Hampton, NB where visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 18th from 2 to 4 & 6 to 8 PM. A family funeral service will be held privately. Interment will take place in the spring All Saints Anglican Church Cemetery. Donations in memory of Anne may be made to the All Saints Anglican Church Clifton Royal or to a charity of the donor’s choice.
