It is with great sadness that the family of Floyd Allen Johnson of Grand Bay – Westfield, NB, announces his passing which occurred on Tuesday, February 18, 2020 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Jerusalem, NB on December 16, 1934, he was the son of the late Ralph and Nita (Machum) Johnson. Floyd is survived by his companion Eleanor Braydon; children: Michael Johnson (Sue) of Grand Bay – Westfield, NB, Debbie Daley (Ken) of Fairfield, NB and Susan Duguay of Lower Sackville, NS; grandchildren: Michael, Meagan, Chrissy, Jennifer, Christopher, Nita, and Natalie; great grandchildren: Alex, Kayla, Justin,Charlotte T., Madi, Carter, Charlotte P. and Beau; brother Bob Johnson; sister Thelma McConchie (Ross); and several nieces nephews, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law. In addition to his parents, Floyd was predeceased by his first wife Dorothy, second wife Evelyn; brother Franklin; and grandson-in-law Gerald. Arrangements have been entrusted to Reid’s Funeral Home (506-832-5541), 1063 Main Street, Hampton, NB. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2020 at 2:00 PM from Brenan’s Bayview Chapel, 1461 Manawagonish Road, Saint John, NB. Interment will take place in the spring at First Cambridge Baptist Cemetery, Cambridge-Narrows, NB. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Floyd may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
