It is with great sadness that the family of Agnes "Peggy" Eleanor Ballard announces her passing which occurred on Monday, January 6, 2020, at her home in Hampton, NB. Born in Lisburn, Ireland on November 23, 1917, she was the daughter of the late William and Christiana (Green) Mulholland. Peggy is survived by her adopted daughter Patsy Clarke of Hampton, NB; sister Christena Jarvis of Peterborough, ON; as well as many nieces, nephews and close friends. In addition to her parents, Peggy was predeceased by her loving husband Rev. A. James Ballard in 2013; sister Sara "Sadie" Hood; and brother William Mulholland. Arrangements have been entrusted to Reid’s Funeral Home (506-832-5541), 1063 Main Street, Hampton, NB, where visitation will be held on Thursday, January 9, 2020 from 4 to 7 PM. The funeral service will take place on Friday, January 10, 2020 at 11:00 AM from St. Paul’s Presbyterian Church conducted by Rev. Kent Burdett. Interment will take place in the spring at Hampton Rural Cemetery. Donations in memory of Peggy may be made to the Extra Mural Program, St. Paul’s Presbyterian Church or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
