It is with great sadness that the family of Doreen I. Damon of Hampton, NB, announces her passing which occurred on November 12, 2019 at Tucker Hall, Shannex in Saint John, NB. Born in London, England on May 9, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Percy and Ivy (Smith) Taylor. Doreen is survived by her loving daughters: Ann Burke (Gerry) of Calgary, AB and Coleen Damon (Brian) of Cambridge Narrows, NB; sons: Alan Damon (Alice) of Hampton, NB and Tony Damon (Heidi Pearson) of Bloomfield, NB; brother Ken Taylor of England; seven much loved grandchildren: Kristen Schneidmiller, Tracey Greenslade, Colin Jardine, Craig Jardine, Angela Ryan, Neil Damon and Grace Damon; several precious great-grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Doreen was predeceased by her loving husband Hazen in 2009; and brother Roy Taylor. Arrangements have been entrusted to Reid’s Funeral Home (506-832-5541), 1063 Main Street, Hampton, NB, where visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 19, 2019 from 4 to 8pm. The funeral service will take place on Wednesday, November 20, 2019 at 11:00am from Reid’s Funeral Home. A private family interment will take place at Church of the Ascension Cemetery. Donations in memory of Doreen may be made to the Hampton Minor Sports, Pascobac Centre, Hampton Food Basket or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
