It is with great sadness that the family of George "Tony" Anthony Prescott of Hampton, NB, announces his passing which occurred on Thursday, October 17, 2019 at the Sussex Health Centre. Born in St. Michael, Barbados, on December 29, 1943, he was the son of the late Elsie Prescott. Tony is survived by his loving companion, Judy Ganong and his chosen family which includes, sons: Paul (Penny) Ganong, Tim (Laurie) Ganong, Mark (Tina) Ganong and John-Paul Ganong; grandchildren: Tori, Jacey, Joseph, Kyle, Jayme, Rhylee, Wyatt, Dylan and Hailey; his sister in New York; his brother in Barbados; special friend Peggy McLean; as well as several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Arrangements have been entrusted to Reid’s Funeral Home (506-832-5541), 1063 Main Street, Hampton, NB, where visitation will be held from 4 to 8 pm on Tuesday, October 22, 2019. A celebration of Tony’s life will be held on Wednesday, October 23, 2019 at 11:00am from Reid’s Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will take place in Ocean View Memorial Gardens.
