It is with deep sadness that the family of Robert (Bob) Lee Crawford, age 81, of Hampton, NB, loving husband of the late Liliane Lefrancois,announce his passing away peacefully on Friday, June 21, 2019 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. He was the son of the late Juanita Scott and the late Robert Crawford. Bob was a very loving and caring man, who loved the peace and quiet of nature and the outdoors. He loved to travel and log on the miles in his motorhome while visiting the great open spaces. He was also fond of the community and tranquility Hampton and its residents had to offer. Bob was the beloved father to his sons Jean-François Crawford (Marina Aaron) of Quebec City, Jacques Crawford (Martine Dessureault) of Quebec City. He was a loving grandfather to his six grandchildren; Katerina, John, Julianna, Thomas, Marilou and Lily-Rose. He is also survived by his half-sister Dorothy Fletcher and his half-brother Peter Defant. Bob will also be remembered and sadly missed by his brothers and sisters-in-law, his many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his sister Louise. Bob had a few special friends that were part of his life, his great neighbours; Al and Gail Fraser, as well as his good friend Judy Rathburn. Arrangements have been entrusted to Reid’s Funeral Home (506-832-5541), 1063 Main Street, Hampton, NB. According to Bob’s last wishes, there will be a funeral service held in Quebec City.
