It is with deep sadness, the family announces the death of B. Douglas Rupert of Passekeag, NB, husband of Janet (Cripps) Rupert, which occurred on Tuesday, June 4, 2019, at his residence in Passekeag, with his family at his side. He was born on May 10, 1946 in Passekeag, NB, a son of the late William and Christina (Ryder) Rupert. He is survived by his much loved and cherished wife of 23 years, Janet; he was the beloved dad to his sons Troy Rupert of Hampton, Bruce (Shelley) Rupert of Hampton; his daughters Lorrie McMonagle of Oromocto, NB, Heather (Rob) Tait of Hampton, NB; step-dad to Kate (Scott) McCann of Passekeag, NB, Diana (James) Reuvekamp of Passekeag, NB; he was tremendously proud of his grandchildren Zachery, Rebecca, Amy, Ashley, Timothy, Sarahlee, Jordanne, Cooper, Ella, Avery, Allie; and his four great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister Audrey Rupert; sisters-in-law Florence Rupert and Lorna Rupert; he will also be remembered and sadly missed by several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his grandson Douglas; brothers Hazen, Royce, Lorne; sisters Jenny, Irma and Rhona. He is resting at Reid’s Funeral Home (506-832-5541), 1063 Main Street, Hampton, NB, with visiting on Saturday, June 8, 2019 from 6 to 8 PM and Sunday, June 9, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8PM. Funeral Service will be held on Monday, June 10, 2019 2:00PM from Bloomfield Baptist Church, 435 Route 121, Bloomfield. A private family interment will take place in the Lower Bloomfield Baptist Cemetery.
