It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Everett Earnest Erb at his residence on May 13, 2019. at the age of 75. He was the son of Myron and Ethel Erb, of Erb’s Cove. Everett was predeceased by his parents, and siblings Lawrence Erb, Audrey (Erb) Chase and Weldon Erb. He is survived by wife Carol (Hamilton) Erb and Tina Hall, who is thought of as a daughter. Brother in law, Don Hamilton (Heather) as well as many nieces and nephews. He was employed by the Dept of Transportation for many years. After retirement he enjoyed tinkering in his garage, welding, and keeping the Jitney running. He kept busy, always willing to lend a helping hand to family, friends and community. His family would like to express their gratitude to the paramedics, Hampton Fire Dept and RCMP for their professionalism and extreme kindness. Arrangements have been entrusted to Reid&quo;s Funeral Home (506-832-5541), 1063 Main Street, Hampton, NB, where a Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, May 17th at 2:00 pm in Reid’s Funeral Home Chapel followed by a reception at the Lighthouse River Centre. Interment will be in the Erbs Cove Baptist Church Cemetery. Donations in memory of Everett may be made to NB Heart and Stroke, NB Lung Association, Canadian Diabetes Association, Camp Tulakadik or to a memorial of the donor’s choice.
