My condolences to Mrs Hirtles family. She was my grade 2 teacher at MacDonald Consolidated School. She was one of my favourite teacher. She was always so encouraging and nurturing as a teacher. Mrs Hirtle taught me cursive writing and helped I still a love of reading. She will be missed.

I just wanted to pass along my sincere condolences on the loss of such a wonderful woman. Mrs. Hirtle was my grade one teacher and she always left a laying impression on me. Years later, while working in admitting at the hospital, she came to my stall and I said hi Mrs. Hirtle and she never missed a beat in returning my full name.
