It is with great sadness that the family of Garry Brenton Craig Goobie of Goobies, NL, announces his death which occurred at GB Cross Hospital, Clarenville, Newfoundland, on Sunday, January 20, 2019. He was born on December 24, 1963 at Come By Chance, NL and was the son of the late Herbert (Donald) and Irene (Forsey) Goobie. He worked on John Haye’s farm in Bloomfield, NB for a couple of summers in his younger years. Garry is survived by his beloved siblings, Ivy (Eric) Barrett of Goobies, NL, William (Sadie) Goobie of Goobies, NL, Leonard (Brenda) Goobie of Hampton NB, Elva Hobbs of Goobies, NL, Brian (Mary) Goobie of Saint John, NB and Roger (Tammy Scott) of Come By Chance, NL, many nephew and nieces, several aunts and uncles and numerous cousins. Arrangements are in the care of Fewer’s Funeral Home, (709-463-2525) Clarenville, NL. Visiting will be at Goobies Pentecostal Church, Goobies, NL, on Tuesday, January 22, 2019.
