With celebration of a life well lived, the family of Evelyn Harrison announces her passing which occurred on Saturday, January 5, 2019 at Parkland Shannex, Saint John, NB. Born in Nauwigewauk, NB, on August 29, 1933, she was the daughter of the late David and Grace (Fraser) Scribner. Evelyn is survived by her brothers: Stuart Fraser and Leslie Scribner both of Nauwigewauk, NB; and sisters-in-law: Joan Scribner, Verna Webb and Shirley Douglas. As well as the Stacey family which she adopted as her own; including her special adopted grandson Christopher Stacey, his wife Betty, and their children: Oscar, Henry and Margaret. Besides her parents, Evelyn was predeceased by her husband Clive Harrison; brother Russell Scribner; sisters-in-law: Fran, Ruth, Marion, Jesse and Christina; and brothers-in-law: Lloyd Douglas, Mac Webb, Clarence Harrison and Ken Harrison. Arrangements have been entrusted to Reid’s Funeral Home (506-832-5541), 1063 Main Street, Hampton, NB. A Celebration of Evelyn’s life will be held on Friday, January 11, 2019 at 11:00am from the Nauwigewauk Christian Church, Fraser Brook Road, Nauwigewauk. Interment will take place in the spring at Hampton Rural Cemetery. Donations in memory of Evelyn may be made to the Nauwigewauk Christian Church or to the memorial of the donor’s choice.
