Obituary of Narda Jean O'Donnell
It is with heavy hearts that the family of Narda Jean O’Donnell of Kingston NB announce her passing on Tuesday September 11th 2018 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John 71 years ago, she was the daughter of the late Alexander and Hilda (Good) Doiron. Narda is survived by her husband of 53 years, David, her daughter; Kristina Allen (Stephen) of Kingston NB, her son; William O’Donnell of Fort McMurray AB, step-daughter; Brenda Miller (Chris) of Saint John NB, her brother Brian Doiron of Dartmouth NS, her sister; Dorothy Cummings and 9 grandchildren; Aaron, Keenan, Erica, Kelsey, Tristian, Jordan, Nick, Jazmin and Cordell. Narda was predeceased by a brother Alec and a sister Patricia.
Narda is also survived by many brother & sister-in-laws, nieces and nephews. For over twenty years she and her husband Dave owned the Kozy Korner restaurant in Hampton and retired in 2005 when they sold the business. They were big supporters of senior B hockey and she loved driving her corvette during those years.
Narda was a very kind, thoughtful, generous and loving person. She always had a smile, especially for her grandchildren. She always made us feel special and loved. She also loved all her adventures and many laughs with her best friend and "sister of her heart" Katie.
Narda’s passion was her knitting and crocheting. She was always knitting for her loved ones and she knit for many others as well. She donated her knitting to the Hampton Food Basket, The Pregnancy Center and for newborn babies at the hospital.
