It is with heavy hearts that the family of Steven Wayne Sabean announce his passing which occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Monday, September 10, 2018. Born in Saint John, NB, on March 21, 1964, Steven was the son of the late James Sabean Sr. and Lena (Little) Totten. Steven is survived by his loving wife, Debera Sabean (Totten); step-children: Randy Shannon of Barnesville, NB, Anthony Shannon (Gisele) of Moncton, NB, and Sheila Miller (Roger) of Moncton, NB; sisters: Jocelyn Totten (Jim) of Salisbury, NB, Linda Sherwood of Upham, NB, and Maureen (Doug) Peterson of Barnesville, NB; brothers: James (Aleta) Sabean Jr. of Barnesville, NB, John (Lynn) Sabean of Saint John, NB, and David (Cathy) Sabean of Saint John, NB; half sisters: Cindy Totten (Rob) of Otter Lake, NB, and Mary Totten (Dave) of Grove Hill, NB; half brothers: Joey (Faye) Totten of Barnesville, NB, Peter (Heather) Totten of Baxter’s Corner, NB, and Matthew (Carrie) Totten of Grove Hill, NB; step-grandchildren: Catlin and Christie Shannon; step-great grandchild Carlie Shannon; as well as many nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Steven was predeceased by his step-son, Weldon Shannon. Arrangements have been entrusted to Reid’s Funeral Home (506-832-5541), 1063 Main Street, Hampton, NB, where visitation will be held on Thursday, September 13, 2018 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8pm. The funeral service will be held on Friday, September 14, 2018 at 11:00am from the Seventh Day Adventist Church, Barnesville, NB. Interment will take place in the adjoining cemetery.
