With celebration of a life well lived, the family of Bernice Ruby Grear (Doherty), age 84, announces her passing which occurred on Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at the Kings Way Care Centre, Quispamsis, NB. Born in Upham, NB, on November 4, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Roy and Blanche (Wiggins) Doherty. Bernice is survived by her daughter, Heather Forgrave and her husband David of Hampton, NB; son, Blaine Grear and his wife Kimberley of Quispamsis, NB; grandchildren: Megan and Nicholas Forgrave; sisters: Jean Maston of Minto, NB, and Marlene (David) Mercer of Fredericton, NB; as well as several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Bernice was predeceased by her loving husband of 54 years, Willard Fenton Grear in 2010; twin sister, Beulah Doherty; sister, Roberta McCauley; and brother, Ralph Doherty. Arrangements have been entrusted to Reid’s Funeral Home (506-832-5541), 1063 Main Street, Hampton, NB. A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, April 16, 2018 at 11:00am from Reid’s Funeral Home Chapel. A private family interment will take place at Riverbank Cemetery at a later date.
