We only know of one time when she was very bad - that was when she filled our honey moon suit case with confetti and green tomatoes! We left a trail of confetti in every hotel so we thought of your Mom often when on our honey moon trip!! In her name we will make a donation to the Charlotte County food bank. I worked with Joan at Lakefield Elementary and remember her well. What a lady! She possessed grace and elegance even when civility must have been hard to muster. She always spoke lovingly of her children and grandchildren. Although the death of Mac hit her hard, she soldiered on and faced the death of her son, Peter, stoically. When she married Lloyd, we were happy for her and the time they spent together. I hope you can take comfort in your memories of such a special person knowing how much you meant to her.
