It is with sadness that the family of Bertram Smith Miller, of St. Martins, NB, husband of the late Joan (Walls) Miller announces his death which occurred on Saturday, December 2, 2017 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in St. Martins, NB, on March 15, 1926, he was a son of the late Erroll and Arvilla (Osborne) Miller. Bert attended RCS (Rothesay Collegiate School) and the University of New Brunswick, Fredericton. He is survived by his son Donald Miller of St. Martins, NB; daughter Joanne (David) Hinton of New Maryland, NB; granddaughters Holly Hinton, Leslie (Jay Reid) Hinton; sister Barbara McIntyre; as well as several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents and wife Bert was predeceased by his sister Jean Logan and brothers-in-law Paul Logan and Sterling McIntyre. Arrangements have been entrusted to Reid’s Funeral Home (506-832-5541), 1063 Main Street, Hampton, NB and will be held privately.
