It is with sadness that the family of Ralph Joseph LeBlanc, age 82, of Shanklin, NB, announces his death which occurred on Thursday, November 16, 2017 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. He was born on June 25, 1935 in White’s Settlement, NB, a son of the late Leandre and Philomene (Collette) LeBlanc and husband of the late Albertine (Léger) LeBlanc. Ralph is survived by his sons: Dan (Crystal) LeBlanc of St. George, NB, Paul (Alice) LeBlanc of Saint John, NB; daughters Pauline Hamilton of Quispamsis, NB, Paulette (Jim) Mott of Quispamsis, NB; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; brothers: Laurie LeBlanc of Shediac, NB, Jean-Guy (Laura) LeBlanc of Saint John, NB, Junior (Lorna) LeBlanc of Shediac, NB; sisters: Linda (Henri) Gautreau of Tracadie, NB, Jeannine Deadman of Shediac, NB; several nieces and nephews. Besides his wife, Ralph was also predeceased by his son Ralph Jr. and brothers Leo-Paul and Gerald. The family would like to express their thanks to Andrea and Laurie Saulnier for all that they did for Ralph and Albertine over the past number of years. Your kindness will forever be remembered. Arrangements have been entrusted to Reid’s Funeral Home (506-832-5541), 1063 Main Street, Hampton, NB. Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 19, 2017 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8PM, from St. Williams Catholic Church, 2354 Route 111, St. Martins. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, November 20, 2017 at 11:00AM from St. Williams Catholic Church. Interment will take place in the adjoining cemetery. Donations in memory of Ralph may be made to St. Williams Catholic Church Building Fund, Cemetery Fund or to the memorial of the donor’s choice.
