To the family of Germaine Blackier; So sorry to learn of the passing of your mom last week. Your mom was my travel companion when we went to Europe in 2002 and couldn't have asked for a better companion. She warned me before we left that she had no sense of direction and would have to depend on me. Well I don't know as she had placed her trust in the right person as we did get "lost"/"turned around" twice. Once in Paris and once in Austria BUT we always got back to the meeting place & on the bus in plenty of time!! Have great memories of that trip and always think of her when that trip comes to mind or I look at the pictures. Seemed to have lost touch when she moved although did see her once when I was down at Shannex trying to find someone who was in there also. Other ways your family has crossed my life was your dad & I did leather craft with the scouts many years ago, & your Gram, Alexina was in the nursing home when I worked there. All great memories.
