It is with sadness that the family of Blanche Edna Roberts, age 82, wife of the late Otty Roberts, announces her death which occurred on Thursday, August 10, 2017 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. She was born on April 26, 1935, in Millerton, NB, a daughter of the late Frank and Georgina (Williston) Courts. Blanche is survived by her daughter Peggy (Doug) McCrea of Keirsteadville, NB; sons Ralph Roberts of New York, Frank Roberts of Hampton, NB, Wilfred (Pam) Roberts of Saint John, NB, George (Marina) Roberts of Hampton, NB, John (Tracey) Roberts of Hampton, NB; grandchildren Robin, Melissa, Meaghan, Shaunna, Evan, Todd, Justin, Tanner, Karly, Sarah, Samantha; great-grandchildren Claire, Lily, Gracie, Jaxx, Haley, Ethan, Marshall, Ella, Olivia; sisters Audrey Saunders of Millerton, NB, Connie (Jack) Hamilton of Kanata, ON, as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sisters Mary Evans, Alice Connors; brothers Walter, Bill and Lyman. Arrangements have been entrusted to Reid’s Funeral Home (506-832-5541), 1063 Main Street, Hampton, where visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 15, 2017 from 4 to 8PM. The funeral service, conducted by The Rev. Canon Leo Martin will be held on Wednesday, August 16, 2017 at 11:00AM from Reid’s Funeral Chapel. Interment will take place at Hampton Rural Cemetery.
