Susan Malone, a strong and beautiful woman, passed away, July 28, 2017, peacefully, at the age of 67, in Sussex, New Brunswick, of congestive heart failure. Born in the U.K., Susan was the only daughter of Iris & Desmond Harris, moving to Bedford in 1956. Susan was famous in the retail shopping center business and was the original project manager for Bedford Place Mall, Market Square in Saint John & Park Lane Mall, Halifax. Also, Susan was one of the Charter Members of the Halifax Cornwallace Progress Club. After working with others, Susan’s entrepreneurial spirit burst forward and she owned her own successful business, Specialty Retail Consultants. Upon retirement, Susan became a certified yoga instructor. Susan has left to mourn her twin brother, Gordon (Debbie), younger brother Jim as well as several nieces & nephews, along with her successful children, Sherri Malone D.V.M. (Dale Comeau) in Hampton, New Brunswick & Jason Malone (Ashley) and their 3 beautiful daughters, Abby, Rylee & Charleigh of Holland Landing, Ontario. She is also survived by Sherri & Jason’s father, David (Linda) Malone. Arrangements have been entrusted to Reid’s Funeral Home (506-832-5541), 1063 Main Street, Hampton, NB, and as per Susan’s yearn for privacy, she has requested no visitation or funeral service.
