With sadness and celebration of a life well lived, the family of Dawn Ann Healey, age 81, of Kingston, NB, announces her death which occurred on Monday, May 15, 2017 at the Dr. V. A. Snow Centre. Born in Saint John, NB, on February 1, 1936, she was a daughter of the late John and Edwina (McLeod) Asselstine. Dawn is survived by her children: Charles Asselstine and his companion Kim of Sussex, NB, and Tracey Healey of Moncton, NB; brothers: William Asselstine and his wife Edna of Kingston, NB, and John Asselstine of Kingston, NB; as well as many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Dawn was predeceased by her husband Ross Healey; brothers Alfred and Robert Asselstine; and sister Eleanor Tremblett. Arrangements have been entrusted to Reid’s Funeral Home (506-832-5541), 1063 Main Street, Hampton, NB, all will be held privately. A private family interment will be held at Ocean View Memorial Gardens. Donations in memory of Dawn may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society or to the memorial of the donor’s choice.
