It is with great sadness that the family of Freeman "Sam"Svavarsson, age 75, of Hampton, NB, announces his death which occurred on Thursday, December 15, 2016 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Sam was born on July 3, 1941, in Yugoslavia, a son of the late Savo and Milica (Lalic) Mazibrada. Sam is survived by his wife Dianne (Johnson) Svavarsson; brother Mike (Julie) Mazibrada of Essex, England; brother-in-law David (Brenda) Johnson of Hampton, NB; as well as several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Arrangements have been entrusted to Reid’s Funeral Home (506-832-5541), 1063 Main Street, Hampton, where all arrangements will be held privately. A private family interment will take place at a later date Donations in memory of Sam may be made to the NB Lung Association or to the memorial of the donor’s choice.
