It is with great sadness that the family of Carolyn Grant, age 75, of Grove Hill, NB, announces her death which occurred on Saturday, November 12, 2016 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born on February 20, 1941, in Amherst, NS, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Dorothea (Lambert) Brown. Carolyn is survived by her loving husband Robert Grant of 26 years; brothers: Eric (Lanette) Brown, Wilfred (Cathy) Bradley and Roy (Terri) Bradley; sisters: Vivian Learning, Eva Riggs, Florine White and Dorothea McLaughlin; step-brothers: Ansley (Isabel) Bradley and Robert (Darlene) Bradley; step-sisters: Lenora Wellman and Rebecca Brown; as well as many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Carolyn was predeceased by her brothers Arnold and Joe Brown; sister Delma Sabean, Marion Hall; step-brothers James Bradley and Harold Bradley; and step-sisters Viola Taylor and Rowena Bradley. Arrangements have been entrusted to Reid’s Funeral Home (506-832-5541), 1063 Main Street, Hampton where visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 16, 2016 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8PM. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 17, 2016 at 11:00AM from Reid’s Funeral Chapel. Interment will take place at Covenantor Cemetery, Barnesville, NB.
