It is with great sadness that the family of Karla Ruth Webb, age 50, of Norton, NB, announces her death which occurred on Wednesday, November 2, 2016 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. She was born on November 22, 1965, in White Head Island, NB, a daughter of Myron and Karen (Trecartin) Morse. Karla graduated from Grand Manan High School in 1983 and attended NBCC in St. Andrew’s the following year. She was a loyal and dedicated employee of Bell Aliant for 30 years. She loved being a grandmother and spending time with her step-children and their families. Her greatest passion was spending time with Don. Together they enjoyed travelling, camping, golfing and sharing this time with a very special group of friends. In her younger years she played centre field on a number of soft ball teams. Karla was greatly loved, admired and respected and was always ready with a smile. She will be sadly missed by family, friends and co-workers. Karla is survived by her loving husband Don Webb of 15 years; step-children: Paul Webb (Lori) of Saint John, NB, Jeffrey Webb (LeDawn) of Stony Plain, AB, and Kelly Rice (Marcus Colbourne) of Fort McMurray, AB; step-grandchildren: Dawson, Ryleigh, Paisley, Kennedy, Claire and Sadi; brother Mark Morse (Jennifer) of Grand Manan, NB; sister Kathy Beyea (Chuck) of Clarendon, NB; mother-in-law Jean Webb; brother-in-law Reg Webb (Mary); sister-in-law Eleanor Boyle (Joe); sister-in-law and caregiver Shirley Webb; aunt Johanna Morse "Aunt Babes"; nieces Arianna, Jessica, Kirstin; nephews Timothy, Justin and several extended nieces, nephews and cousins. Karla was predeceased by her father-in-law Earl Webb and uncle Lawrence Morse. Arrangements have been entrusted to Reid’s Funeral Home (506-832-5541), 1063 Main Street, Hampton, where visitation will be held on Sunday, November 6, 2016 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8PM. The funeral service will be held on Monday, November 7, 2016 at 1:00PM from Reid’s Funeral Chapel. Interment will take place at Riverbank Cemetery.
