Dearest Howie, Boyd & Gill and family, Anita & Dean and family, Jeff -- our hearts are bittersweet as we heard God's answer to our prayers -- His will was done and our beloved Fran is now in her eternal home! Yes, she is now living her greatest adventure! Just want you to know that we are continuing to pray for God's arms to protect you with His peace that passes all understanding; His arms to surround you with His mercy that He promises to be new every morning; His arms to embrace each of you with His unfailing love that knows no end. Praying the love of Jesus and the comforting power of the Holy Spirit to be with you both today and in the days, weeks, months, years to come. Isaiah 40:11 - "He tends His flock like a shepherd: He gathers the lambs in His arms and carries them close to His heart." He is holding Fran now -- He will tenderly hold each of you, lovingly comfort you and faithfully walk with you every step of every day. We do so want to be there with you but are just not able to at this time. I've just pulled out the album of our last visit with you and Fran - our trip to Grand Manan -- what a joyous time we had! Such good memories and my (Ginny) heart is so full of thankfulness for the part that Fran has played in my life - spiritual mentor, earthly woman who showed me how to love, faithful daughter of our Lord. Hopefully in the very near future we can come for a visit with you! Our love and ongoing prayers, your brother Brian and sister-in-love, Ginny (or Gin as Fran would call me!)

Dear Howard, First off my sincere sympathies on the loss of dear Fran. It was always my pleasure to see Fran at the church services at the Snow Centre these last few years. Sometimes I would think a spark of recognition was there when she would look at me, who knows how the minds work. I was saddened to learn of her passing. The obituary is absolutely beautiful. Whoever put her story together did a wonderful job. I learned so much about her life and yours. What an extra ordinary person. I had no idea that you and she had been such travelers and that she had done so many things. Heaven is blessed. Her sweet presence will be missed at the V A Snow. Our WMS has missed her being with us since she first became ill. She will remain forever with you and the family.

Dear Howard and family, How sad I was to hear of Fran's passing. Howard, you and Fran became like a brother and sister to me as I came to know you so many years ago and then spent a year boarding at your home. The fun climbs up the "mountain" behind your house with Fran and the kids were always a hi-light while I lived there and later each time I visited. So many memories of her warmth, great meals, crazy craft ideas, and talks about Jesus. Knowing she is with Him right now I am sure is a comfort to you more than anything anyone can say.
