It is with great sadness that the family of Sharon Janice Nichols, age 70, of Fredericton, NB, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 23, 2016 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital with her loving family by her side. Born in Saint John, NB, on June 22, 1946, she was a daughter of the late Lesie and Sylvia (Paterson) Herrington. Sharon is survived by her children: Troy Rupert of Hampton, NB, Bruce (Shelly) Rupert of Hampton, NB, Lorrie McMonagle of Oromocto, NB, and Heather (Rob) Tait of Hampton, NB; brother Ian Herrington of Clarence, NS; sisters: Carol Gammer of Kamloops, BC, Vera Raeburn of Quispamsis, NB and Marilyn Ketchum of Hampton, NB; as well as several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Sharon was predeceased by her grandson Douglas McMonagle; as well as many brothers and sisters. Arrangements have been entrusted to Reid’s Funeral Home (506-832-5541), 1063 Main Street, Hampton, NB, and will be held privately. A private family interment will take place at St. Andrews Cemetery, Saint John, NB. Donations in memory of Sharon may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the memorial of the donor’s choice.
