Obituary of Paul Craine
It is with great sadness that the family of Paul William Craine, age 77, of Norton, NB, announces his death which occurred on Monday, August 15, 2016 at the Sussex Health Centre with his family by his side. He was born on December 14, 1938, in Bon Accord, NB, a son of the late Leslie and Alice Wright-Crain.
Paul is survived by his loving wife Eleanor "Louise"(Jonah) Craine of 51 years; sons Brian (Monica) Craine of North Carolina and Bruce (Cerina) Craine of Salmon Creek, NB; one chosen daughter Diane (Norman) and her family; grandchildren: Michael, Matthew, Amanda, Christopher, Brandon and Ashley; step grandchildren: Catherine, Caroline, Michael and Dale; two great grandchildren Matt and Jacob; siblings: Perley Crain of Fredericton, NB, Phyllis Crain of Manitoba, Clifford Crain of Northwest Territories and Frank (Gail) Crain of Dumfries, NB; sisters-in-law Evelyn Craine and Maisie Crain; brother-in-law Doug (Jeannette) Jonah; as well as several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Paul was predeceased by his siblings: Gertrude, Hazel and Earl Craine, Thelma Campbell, Edith Cronkhite, and Lee, Jack and Basil Crain; three infant granddaughters; brothers-in-law: Perley Black, Carvel Campbell and DeVern Cronkhite; and sister-in-law Della Crain.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Reid’s Funeral Home (506-832-5541), 1063 Main Street, Hampton, NB. Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 18, 2016 from 9:30 to 10:30AM with the funeral service following at 11:00 AM with Rev. Charles Thompson presiding all at Bloomfield Baptist Church. Interment will take place at Bloomfield Baptist Church Cemetery following the service.
