It is with sadness the family of Mary Elizabeth Burchill of French Village, NB, announces her passing, which occurred on Saturday, July 16, 2016 at Bobby’s Hospice, Saint John, NB. Born on February 2, 1929 in Saint John, NB. Mary was the wife of the late Gregory Burchill. Mary was raised by her grandparents the late Frederick and Agnes Saunders and was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She is survived by son Gary Burchill (Claudette Stacey) of Nauwigewauk, NB; daughters Evelyn Carey (Andrew Kellar) and Linda (Brian) Kellar of French Village, NB; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Gregory and sons Samuel and Robert Burchill and sons-in-law Paul Carey and Walter Kellar. She is resting at Reid’s Funeral Home (506-832-5541) 1063 Main Street, Hampton, NB with visitation on Thursday, July 21, 2016 from to 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm. The funeral service conducted by Lay Reader Bud Belyea, will be held from Reid’s Funeral Home Chapel Friday, July 22, 2016 at 11:00 am. Interment will be in St. Andrews Anglican Cemetery, French Village, NB. Donations in memory of Mary may be made to Bobby’s Hospice or to the memorial of the donor’s choice.
