Jack and I would like to send our deepest sympathy to all Lu's family. She was a very special person and my visits to her always made me so happy as we had such great conversations. She had such a wide range of interests and a lot of wisdom from her experiences over the years. We loved to talk about travel, music and the Magdalens And she impressed me because she would remember to ask about my family, even remembering where they were and what they did. Lu will be greatly missed by a lot of people. Jack and I wish we could be there on Saturday, but this is not possible as we are not in Canada at present. But our thoughts will be with you all. I will always remember conversations with Lu when she lived in Hampton and her wonderful advice when I planned a trip to the Magdelan Islands and visited the people she had contacted prior to sailing the one of the most beautiful places I have ever seen. She was a wealth of information and a joy to visit.

Providing care to your dear father at RVW was an honour & privilege, meeting Lu was equally so. Her homemade rolls,treats and best ever asparagus sandwiches was always such a treat.
