It is with sadness, that the family announces the death of Michael Moffatt Given, age 66, of Nauwigewauk, NB which occurred Friday, May 6, 2016, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. He was born on November 12, 1949, in Saint John, NB, a son of the late William and Thyrza (Moffatt) Given. Michael is survived by two daughters Michelle Given (Mike) of Sussex, NB and Shannon Given (Brody) of Hampton, NB; sisters Betty Jane Smith( Lloyd) of Saint John, NB, Jo-Anne Roberts of BC, and Sandy Given (Francis) of Saint John, NB; brothers Billy Given (Jean) of Saint John and Rick Given (Heather) of Kingston, NB; grandchildren Jaden, Willow, Lexus, Eliza and new grandson Traeh to be born in June and several nieces , nephews, great nieces, great nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his parents, sister Margo Given and brother-in-law David Roberts. Michael worked in his younger years as a sandblaster and spray painter in BC and Saint John until his failing health. He loved to see family and friends come and visit. He is resting at Reid’s Funeral Home (506-832-5541), 1063 Main Street, Hampton, NB, with visitation on Wednesday, May 11, 2016 one hour prior to the service at 2pm with Archdeacon Robert Marsh officiating.
