Obituary of Carole Hubley
It is with sadness that the family of Carole Hubley, age 73, of Titusville, NB, wife of the late Stanley Hubley announces her death which occurred on Tuesday, April 26, 2016 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. She was born on March 24, 1943 in Halifax, NS, the youngest daughter of the late Charles and Marjorie (Penney) Butler.
Carole worked at the Branson Hospital as switchboard supervisor on the information desk for over 26 years. She loved music, especially playing her piano and singing with her sisters. She also played the guitar.
Carole is survived by her sisters Beverly (Fred) Birch of Ethelbert, MB, Marjorie (Bill) Akerley of Belleisle Creek, NB, Jeanie (Russell) Hubley of Bedford, NS, Mabel O’Quinn of St. John’s, NL, Ruth Wilson of Owen Sound, ON; brothers David Butler of Hamilton, ON and Charles Butler of NS; niece Susan (Pat) Morrisey of Saint John, NB; nephews Danny (Carolynn) Aubie of Kingston, NB, Charles Butler of Naicam, SK; and several cousins.
She is resting at Reid’s Funeral Home (506-832-5541), 1063 Main Street, Hampton, NB, with visiting on Wednesday, April 27, 2016 from 6 to 8 PM. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, April 28, 2016 at 1:00 PM from Cedar Hill Cemetery.
