It is with sadness that the family of Rocco Della Valle, of Hampton formerly of Montreal, QC, husband of Louisa Nardelli Della Valle announces his death which occurred on Saturday, January 23, 2016 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. He was born on September 11, 1954 in Montreal, QC, a son of the late Giulio and Liliana (Marandola) Della Valle. Rocco is survived by his loving wife Louisa Nardelli Della Valle; sons, Giuliano Della Valle (Kira Thompson) of Rothesay and Gabriel Della Valle of Hampton; brother Marco Della Valle (Carmie Leo)of Montreal, QC; sister Anna Della Valle (Blair Mallett) of Montreal, QC; as well as several nieces and nephews. Rocco was predeceased by his first wife Cathy Callahan. Arrangements have been entrusted to Reid’s Funeral Home (506-832-5541), 1063 Main Street, Hampton, NB, where visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 26, 2016 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8pm. The Mass of Christian Burial will take place in Montreal at a later date. Donations in memory of Rocco may be made to the Liver Association or to the memorial of the donor’s choice.
