It is with sadness the family of Thomas Richard Ryan of Hampton, NB, announces his passing, which occurred on Thursday, December 24, 2015 at White Hall Special Care Home. He was the son of Margaret (Ewing) Ryan and the late Ronald Ryan. In addition to his mother, Richard is survived by his daughter, Kathleen (Allan) Lessard of Port Alberni, BC, his son Ronald (Tové) of Nanaimo, BC, grandchildren, Austin, Braiden and Chelsea Lessard, and Levi Ryan, brothers, Stephen (Anne) Ryan of Quispamsis, Fred Ryan of Calgary, sisters, Sheila (Joseph) Martin of Hampton, Mary (Barry) MacDonald of Hampton, Anne (Robert) Marshall of New Maryland, several nieces, nephews and cousins. The family would like to give special thanks to Dr. Mary Jarratt and to the staff of Whitehall Special Care Home for the excellent care given to Richard. He is resting at Reid’s Funeral Home (506-832-5541) 1063 Main Street, Hampton, NB with visitation on Monday, January 4, 2016 from to 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM. Funeral Mass conducted by Rev. Kevin Barry, will be held from St. Alphonsus Church at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, January 5, 2016. Interment will take place in St. Alphonsus Cemetery in the spring.
